About Peer Play Mission
Our approach
Our program integrates developmentally informed interventions with a creative and inclusive group experience. We support expressions of individuality, spontaneity, and silliness, and encourage children to bring their full selves to play in a safe and stimulating environment.
Our staff is highly trained and has spent many years developing innovative ways to help every child achieve their potential. We strive to create a supportive community amongst our parents and facilitate relationships that extend beyond our clinic. We also invite typically developing children (siblings or friends) as playmates, to serve as models of adaptive social behaviors.
Our play areas feature state-of-the-art sensory-motor equipment, and an adjacent playroom is stocked with toys, props, puppets, costumes, arts & crafts materials, and musical instruments.
To protect the privacy of the children we work with, some images on this site show digitally added children rather than photographs of the families in our care.

As valued members of the Peer Play team, they help facilitate social groups, support children's social-emotional development through play-based interactions, assist with intake appointments and observations, and communicate with families to help ensure a collaborative and supportive experience. Their training is grounded in evidence-based, relationship-centered care, allowing them to contribute meaningful support while continuing to develop their clinical skills in a supervised learning environment.
